Piano

Annika Treutler is considered one of the most interesting pianists of her generation, combining power and poetry.
Since her debut in 2010 at the Berliner Philharmonie with the Deutsche Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin with Robert Schumann's Piano Concerto, she has performed with renowned orchestras including the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic, Gürzenich Orchestra, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, and the Gulbenkian Orchestra in major concert halls such as the Kölner Philharmonie, the Isarphilharmonie in Munich and the Wigmore Hall in London.
In addition to her solo performances, Annika Treutler is a dedicated chamber musician. Her long-time chamber music partners include Daniel Müller-Schott, Tabea Zimmermann, Jörg Widmann, and Julia Hagen.
Her acclaimed recordings include works by Viktor Ullmann, Robert Kahn, Mendelssohn, and Brahms, captivating with her feeling for fragile nuances. Her debut album featuring works by Robert Schumann was released in 2013.
Annika Treutler is also the founder of the "#respondinmusic" project, which focuses on musical remembrance culture. In 2020, she toured schools with the project, engaging students in conversations about music and history. She is also involved with "Rhapsody in School," a project aimed at inspiring young people to appreciate classical music initiated by Lars Vogt.

Since 2018, Annika Treutler has taught at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin, most recently as a guest professor, and currently holds a professorship at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden.
