Violin

Violinist Clarissa Bevilacqua is known to enchant audiences with her dazzling technical skills and deeply inspiring musicality. Her debut album Dream Catcher gained international recognition after being recommended by Gramophone Magazine and The Strad, which hailed her playing as “luminously elevated” and “elegant and nimble”.
The album is featuring Augusta Read Thomas complete works for solo violin, and Violin Concerto No. 3: “Juggler in Paradise” with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales under the baton of Vimbayi Kaziboni.
Apart from numerous performances with orchestra, Clarissa also performs regularly in a trio with cellist Giovanni Sollima and pianist Carlotta Maestrini. The album “Short Trio Stories” spans repertoire from classical to rock.
Clarissa is the Artistic Director of the DYNAMIKfest, a yearly classical contemporary chamber music festival in the heart of Salzurg, Austria. Her aim is to showcase dynamic concerts that feature commissioned compositions, premiere programs alongside classical masterpieces, performed by outstanding international musicians under 30.
In 2023, Clarissa was selected to join the Classeek Ambassador Program and their artist roster, as a winner of the open application competition; in 2024, she was selected as a laureate of the prestigious Fondation Gautier Capuçon.
Winner of several international violin competitions, she was awarded First Prize, Audience Award and Special Bärenreiter Award at the International Mozart Competition Salzburg in 2020.
