A brand new collaboration between multi-award-winning pianist Joel Lyssarides and greek bouzouki phenomenon Georgios Prokopiou mixing their various backgrounds in swedish, greek, jazz and classical music.
Joel Lyssarides, swedish with Greek roots, explores the roots of the historical bouzouki together with Prokopiou. This variation of a shell-necked lute is firmly interwoven with the traditions of Greek music. With their sensitive feeling and unerring artistic intuition, the two succeed in making the instrument shine in a new, contemporary light.
