Simon Oslender is regarded as one of the shooting stars of the European jazz scene. His music combines strong and soulful melodies with rich harmonies and always remains rooted in his first love - the groove.
Once known as a "prodigy on the Hammond organ", Simon Oslender has had an impressive career in recent years. Inspired early on by his parents and family to make music, he is regarded as one of Germany's most promising young artists and tours the world as a member of the various bands of his mentor Wolfgang Haffner as well as with saxophone icon Bill Evans. Other musical accolades include performances, tours and productions with Nils Landgren, Randy Brecker, Steve Gadd, Dr Lonnie Smith, Thomas Quasthoff, the WDR Big Band and Max Mutzke.
2024 sees the release of his new album "All That Matters", featuring the two US legends Steve Gadd and Will Lee on drums and bass. A tour with the original album line-up will follow in December 2024: the band featuring Oslender, Lee and Gadd will be joined by Bruno Müller on guitar. A unique opportunity to experience two of the most influential US stars live together with the young keyboardist.
